Vicki Simmons is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker and holds certifications in Life Coaching, Leadership Development Coaching, Team Development, Ropes Course Low Elements, The Daring WayTM, Everything DiSCTM, Five Behaviors of a Cohesive TeamTM and Anger Management Facilitation. She has been in practice as a Woman Owned Business since 1988 and a Texas HUB since 2002. For over 25 years Vicki has had the privilege of working with individuals, businesses, organizations, for profit and non- profit institutions. She is passionate about her work and believes that organizations can create environments where people want to come to work and are passionate about what they do.

Her strengths are in creating programs of lasting value utilizing her supervisory, coaching, and leadership skills. In 1988 she founded her company, Vicki Simmons, LCSW, in order to provide training, consulting, coaching and therapy services to individuals, businesses and organizations. In 1996 she renamed her company, Advantage Center Consulting. With specializations in peak performance and communication she has designed programs that build foundations for mastery in the areas of team development, effective management and leadership skills, stress and time management and change management.

Vicki began her career as a psychotherapist and was regularly asked to provide programs to businesses for stress management, time management, conflict management and mediation. Over the past 25 plus years, Vicki has grown her business through listening to her client’s needs and developing programs or advancing their existing programs to help organizations grow and develop their people. Some of the programs that Vicki offers includes the Five Behaviors of a Cohesive TeamTM, Integro Institute's Leadership Development ProcessTM, Leadership Coaching ProcessTM, and Customer Focused CultureTM programs. She incorporates profiles and learning assessments such as DiSCTM, MBTI, Firo-B, The Birkman Method and Trust Inside AssessmentsTM into many of the programs she offers.

An entrepreneurial spirit has kept Vicki on the leading edge of services and programs. She believes that learning is a choice and she chooses daily to engage with people who share a passion for personal growth and relationship growth, building better workplaces.
