We are small business and we understand the challenges that face small businesses. Using our combined 30+ years of experience, our mission is to help small businesses have access to affordable HR expertise to support employee engagement and business growth.

Founded in 2002 as Permanent Ink Professional Services, we started as a training and development and communications company, based on nearly two decades of training development, associate communications, and staffing and hiring. Over the last decade we have elevated these areas of expertise and added full-cycle HR, coaching, career transition, DiSC assessment, and expanded recruiting and sourcing. We provide all of these services with an emphasis on quality and reliability, and continually focus on how we can provide our small-business clients with the support and services they need to grow and be successful. In 2017 we’re celebrating our 15th year in business. As part of our celebration, we simplified our name to GO-HR, because people think we all have aspirations to join the U.S.S. Enterprise (most of us don’t), but what we really want to do is make HR simple for our clients.

Our clients are in industries such as bookkeeping and accounting, legal, healthcare, insurance, and consumer services. We also have bench strength in retail, higher education, and direct sales, developed through our varied employment experiences. If we had to describe our niche, it’s employers with under 50 associates, predominantly in the professional services industries. Our areas of expertise are generalist and strategic HR consulting, recruiting and onboarding, training and development, non-traditional benefits consulting, and corporate outplacement and individual career transition. Our team is comprised of highly qualified, professionally licensed, and certified professionals.

    Based on the popular book The Five Dysfunctions of a Team by Patrick Lencioni, this assessment-based program allows organizations to continue to use their chosen language to define styles (whether DiSC, MBTI). By helping them connect their preferred personality indicators to the Five Behaviors that can derail a team: absence of trust, fear of conflict, lack of commitment, avoidance of accountability, and inattention to results, you set up your team for success.

    This program is appropriate for organizations that have existing teams that need to be re-booted and are interested in a longer-term program that peels back self-developed barriers and digs deep into behaviors that are impeding a team from moving business forward.
