Why Choose Five Behaviors?

Testimonials For Group Dynamic

  • We have used DiSC in our organization for years, and it’s a great tool, but recently went one step further and had Alan facilitate Five Behaviors of a Cohesive Team with our leadership. The exercise allowed for deeper conversation around the five behaviors, and opportunity to build team-focused goals. It was time well spent!

Alyssa (Smola) Johnston Leadership Training Manager, Iowa Corn Growers Association
  • Alan’s animated, dashing pace kept all participants actively engaged and anxious to learn all that our time together could provide. A day doesn’t pass without someone discussing a profile! A very rewarding experience!

Tamara Bane Instructional Coach, State Finalist, Presidential Award for Excellence in Mathematics Education
  • Alan did a remarkable job doing his ‘homework’ on our industry and organization prior to our workshop. The leadership and personality assessment he uses in his facilitation are the most accurate I’ve seen. I would recommend Alan for all types of organizations.

Melissa Miller Director of Employee Engagement, Story County Medical Center
  • The session we had with you helped us identify our areas of struggle and how to establish our norms so everyone know what to expect. It is amazing the differences we find in our merged organization and the accomplishments we have made since our meetings.

Erin Graves National Service Delivery Director, ADP
  • Of the countless training sessions I’ve been to in my civilian life and the training I’ve received in my 13 year Coast Guard career I’ve never experienced someone with your charisma and talent.

  • An Introduction to Team Development

Learn and understand the Five Behaviors of a Cohesive Team through a brief, 2-4 hour workplace workshop, or 60-120 minute conference breakout session. Note that this session will not include the full Five Behaviors reports. In this session, we will explore the good and bad in all five areas of dysfunction, as outlined in Patrick Lencioni’s book, The Five Dysfunctions of a Team. Leaders will be more effective in teams when they can successfully identify these dysfunctions, then influence their teams in ways that will instead lead them toward the five behaviors of a cohesive team. Following this session, you will be able to identify the 5 dysfunctions by specific behavior, using the 5-point model, then put into action a few tools to turn those dysfunctions into positive behaviors.
