Teamwork is the single most untapped competitive advantage in organizations today.

It doesn’t have to be this way. Building a strong, healthy team is not only possible; it’s also quite simple. If you work on a dysfunctional team you already know that simple things can still be very difficult to implement. That’s where The Five Behaviors of a Cohesive Team™ can make all the difference.

This program is designed as a facilitated learning experience. New and seasoned professionals will discover how to create a truly cohesive and effective team in the most approachable, competent, and effective way possible. Powered by Everything DiSC®, The Five Behaviors profile, which provides both individual and team feedback, is grounded in the model described by Patrick Lencioni in his international best-selling leadership fable, The Five Dysfunctions of a Team.

Since 2014 I have been guiding clients through this process with solid results. I tailor the format of each client project to fit the needs and schedules of team members. I can host the event or assist you in finding another off-site venue where distractions are minimized and confidentiality is preserved.

Remember, a productive, high-functioning team can become your secret competitive advantage. Plus, it's more fun and rewarding to be part of a team that is healthy and cohesive!

Testimonials For Higher Ground Consulting Group, LLC

  • The DISC model was an excellent means to build team understanding and cohesion, which led to practical goal setting.  Ken did a wonderful job of facilitating complex conversations!

Sam Varano Principal, Souderton Area High School
  • Ken’s relaxed style as a facilitator was able to put the team at ease and provided us with a safe environment to explore differences in DiSC style and areas of conflict. My team continues to be a work in progress but with the program building blocks I feel we will continue to become stronger together.

Patricia Lee Director of IT Services, Living Branches
  • Ken changed our team for the better.  He brought us from a shallow non-combative team of non-trust to one who is willing to fight for what is right (in a supportive and trusting way), to making decisions across the board that are moving us to the goals we all wanted in the first place. We are a better team because of Ken.

Susan V. Daywitt CEO, SLM - Facility Solutions Nationwide
  • Because of our time spent with Mr. Byler, I am certain that we now have the tools to make our team more effective and more efficient which will, in turn, allow us to have more fun!  I look forward to seeing how this training will help us for years to come as we serve the faculty, staff, students, and community of North Penn High School.

Todd M. Bauer Principal, North Penn High School
  • Ken’s Five Behaviors of a Cohesive Team™ program is a no-nonsense approach to building a truly collaborative team. The work is completed in a supportive and non-threatening environment. A great investment that will return big rewards!

  • The Five Behaviors™ Team Development Program

With this program, participants will learn how, as a team, they score on the key components of the model: Trust, Conflict, Commitment, Accountability, and Results. Additionally, the program is powered by Everything DiSC®, a personality model that helps individuals understand themselves and others better. Using these results, participants will be able to create a better, stronger team.

Before choosing this program, consider the questions: Is the team really a TEAM? A team is a relatively small number of people (from three to twelve) who meet on a regular basis and are collectively responsible for results. The team members share common goals as well as the rewards and responsibilities for achieving them.

The program includes: A 36-page highly personalized assessment results for individual and team; Strong visuals that illustrate key messages; Context-specific feedback; Tips and strategies for improving teamwork effectiveness; Opportunity for building an action plan

  • Progress Reports

The Five Behaviors of a Cohesive Team™ Progress Report is for teams who have already taken the original The Five Behaviors™ assessment. The Progress Report measures team progress by graphically comparing how a team's performance changed over time.

The Progress Report highlights areas of greatest improvement and decline, offers productive points of discussion, and provides an action plan to help teams prioritize and set specific goals. You'll be able to compare how a team’s performance has changed over time and highlight areas of greatest improvement and of greatest decline.

A typical engagement would likely last 2–4 hours; however, the timing will depend on the needs of the team.

  • The Five Behaviors™ Personal Development Program

Personal Development was designed specifically to work for individuals; participants do not all need to be part of the same team. Rather, participants can carry the takeaways of this program from one team to the next, enabling a culture of teamwork. Learners at all levels of an organization can benefit from this program and adopt its powerful principles, shape behaviors, and create a common language that empowers people to rewrite what it means to work together.

The Five Behaviors™ Personal Development solution teaches individuals to become better teammates by integrating Patrick Lencioni’s model at the organizational level. The goal is to completely redefine teamwork and collaboration.
