JOAN CUTLIP  President, Lifeskils & Career Resources

Joan Cutlip is an Executive Coach. She established her coaching and training business, LifeSkills and Career Resources, over 25 years ago, focusing on interpersonal skill development. She also spent 14 years working as an outplacement consultant, helping people learn career transition skills. Joan has also coached hundreds of individuals in interpersonal skills, career and professional development, career transition, resume development, self-esteem.

She is an award-winning authorized partner for Everything DiSC® Assessments, Five Behaviors of a Cohesive Team™ and PXT Select ™. Joan provides the on-line EPIC Platform from which organizations can send out assessment links to provide profiles for their leadership development needs.

Joan works with individuals and organizationally identified professionals, strong contributors who need a new perspective on their interpersonal skills, self-esteem, and career and professional development. Over the course of her involvement, Joan becomes an advocate for her clients while building rapport and helping them adapt their natural behavior style for more effective outcomes when interacting with others. As an educator, she is passionate about teaching people the skills they need to get better outcomes with others.

Regarded as a results-oriented and people focused educator, she possesses a unique ability to “start where people are and teach them skills necessary to get the outcomes they want.” She holds people accountable for the behaviors they want to adapt. Clients appreciate her exemplary interpersonal skills, ability to educate and work in areas that require high standards of integrity and confidentiality. She often utilizes assessments with her coaching clients to help open their "blind spots" and provide the awareness of skills needed for development.

One unique application of her expertise is her decade long volunteer work with the inmate population at the Dayton Correctional Institute. She works with them on their attitudes, self-esteem, leadership and communications skills to help them make a more successful transition to life after their release from prison.
