Crystal Hanson is the owner and principle HR consultant with South Creek HR out of Fairmont MN. Her professional history includes corporate experience with 3M and IBM.

In her corporate human resources experience, she handled the day-to-day employee and labor relations, supported the goals of the businesses, designed, negotiated, and implemented HR policies, facilitated training for managers & supervisors, led hiring processes, was a subject matter expert in employee relations, leading investigations & appeals, managed employee engagement surveys and the subsequent action plans, and strategically promoted long-term company branding and recruitment efforts.

Crystal obtained a Master’s degree in Human Resources and Industrial Relations from the Carlson School of Management at the University of Minnesota and graduated Summa Cum Laude with a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology, also from the University of Minnesota – Twin Cities.

Her professional passions include facilitating leadership development training and mitigating risks associated with human resources systems. She watches regulation changes, studies lessons learned from employment case law litigation, and monitors trends happening in the HR industry. She enjoys training leaders with this real-world context that not only matters, but also enables them to excel.

Learn how to navigate unexpected and challenging conversations. Develop instincts for when to stick to the agenda and when to improvise, when to let a debate play out and when to cut it short. This course will prepare you for any situation!

This program Includes:

  • 5-week course plus pre-work
  • Weekly 90-minute instructor-led sessions

Accreditation will be granted upon completion of the Wiley course and passing of the accompanying exam. Accreditation is valid for two years at which point you have the option to renew.
