Solutions

  • High Performing Cohesive Teams

Team effectiveness starts with overcoming the Five Dysfunctions of a Team: Absence of trust, fear of conflict, lack of commitment, avoidance of accountability, and inattention to results. These behaviors while obvious require the right approach to sustainably overcome them.

Building an effective, cohesive team is extremely hard. But it’s also simple. In short, teamwork is not complicated – more than anything if requires courage and persistence. We can help:

  • Behavioral Profile tools through Style or Type can speed-up trust on a team in weeks vs. months

Behavioral profiling is a powerful tool that gives team members an objective, reliable means for understanding and describing one another. The benefits are two-fold:
    1. Profiling drastically increases the likelihood that team members will admit their strengths and weaknesses to one another.
    2. By providing team members a common vocabulary for describing they’re similarities and differences, you make it safe for them to give one another feedback without feeling like their making accusatory or unfounded generalizations.

    Behavioral Profiling tools are:
    Simple
    They work
    And people use them

In 1921, Swiss Psychiatrist Carl G. Jung published Psychological Types which introduced the ideal that each person has a psychological type. He believed that people have inborn (innate) preferences for how we:
    Direct and receive energy
    Take in information
    Decide and come to conclusions
How we approach the outside world

  • Great Meetings

To predict the ongoing success of an organization, one would NOT ask to see its financials, product lines, or even talk to its employees or clients; you would want to observe some teams in meetings. This is where values are communicated, ideas are debated, and important decisions are made.

When meetings draw-in participants quickly, promote ideological conflict to arrive at the best decisions and align content to a few specific meeting types - improved business results follow:
