As a long-time corporate communications director and mountain-climbing expedition leader, Dan Kaplan has led his share of difficult and important conversations, motivated people in scary situations, gave difficult feedback in a way that was well-received and listened to people’s needs -- all while leading teams to business and real mountaintops. None of this, he says, is as difficult as communicating with his three teenagers and aging parents.

Dan started the Confident Communicator because he believes that anything is possible if we can just learn to talk to each other. His assessments, workshops, and coaching help leaders and teams speak openly, respectfully, and persuasively, when it matters.
