Kathy focuses on Organizational Development and HR Advisory for start-ups and small businesses. Managing the people part of the organization can be a challenge. From selecting and implementing the right systems to automate the HR administration, to hiring and retaining great talent, to building a culture that is positioned for success. The world we are in is volatile, uncertain, complex, and ambiguous, traditional best practices may not work for the future of your organizations. Kathy believes there is no one-size-fits-all when it comes to growing your organization and your people and that all the intelligence needed lies within.
Kathy spent much of her career in financial services firm that specialized in commodity risk management. As Global Head of HR, she was responsible for payroll, benefits, and HR governance that supported 1,200 employees in the U.S, UK, Brazil, Canada, Australia, Ireland, Singapore, and China. She had key responsibilities in launching the companies ESOP, IPO, and spearheading HR due diligence and integration of five major acquisitions and mergers. She built a human resources cross-functional team culture that provided the foundation for the continuous growth of the company’s strategic and administrative needs.

She joined a Professional Services start-up in 2015 that provided CFO, Accounting, and HR services to small businesses as their HR Practice Leader. There, she put in place HR practices while adjusting best practices to lean start-up principles, design thinking, and Agile team concepts. She then started her advisory practice in 2018.

Kathy holds certifications as, an SHRM-SCP (Senior Certified Professional), GPHR (Global Professional in HR), IC-Agile Adaptive Organizational Design, and Agile Coaching. She co-founded Culture Matters in 2018 which meets monthly as a roundtable discussion on all things culture.
