Dr. Sharonda Bishop is the Founder and Principal of Bishop Consulting, a Human Resource and Training company, serving Southern California. She is an innovative leader, having held senior positions in the hospitality, engineering and PEO industries. Sharonda possesses over 20 years of human resources, payroll, and training experiences, working with employees and managers on a one-to-one level, honing their communication, teamwork and leadership skills.Sharonda is a lecturer at the College of Business Administration at Cal Poly Pomona, and teaches in the professional certification programs at San Diego State University and University of Riverside. She teaches supervisors and managers on a variety of subjects including supervisory skills, talent acquisition and organizational behavior. Sharonda has certifications as a Senior Professional in Human Resources (SPHR), Senior Certified Professional (SHRM-SCP), and Professional in Human Resource - CA designee (PHR-CA). A graduate of Cornell University, Sharonda has a bachelor’s degree in Hotel and Restaurant Management, a master's degree in Human Resource Design from Claremont University, and a doctoral degree from DePaul UniversityAn active member of her community, Sharonda is on the board of directors of Inland Valley Hope Partners and the Professionals in Human Resources Inland Valley district. When she is not working, Sharonda enjoys spending time with her family, husband Kevin, daughter Maya and stepson Kevin Jr and.....spending time whenever she can at Disneyland!
