Gary’s training and experience includes organizational transformation, leadership development, trauma-informed environmental strategies, mental wellness skills facilitation (especially in High-Reliability Organizations – HROs), National Opioid Response Network and building community coalitions. In addition to serving as president of GWTnC Gary also serves as Chief, Leadership Performance Officer for Marathon Consulting Group, Inc. (GA), Prevention Consultant for the American Academy of Addiction Psychiatry (RI) and is a certified facilitator with the National Council for Behavioral Health. Gary’s formal Public Health educational experiences include Johns Hopkins University (Bloomberg School of Public Health), University of South Florida (College of Public Health – Executive Public Health Practice) and the University of Tampa (FL). In addition to a career in public health, Gary serves on governance and advisory boards, regularly supports local groups including the Military Affairs Council and national public radio. He currently resides in Palm Beach County, FL with his family.
