About Us

Building a great team

Are you a senior leader who wants your team to:

- Trust one another?
- Engage in constructive conflict around ideas vs. destructive conflict about personalities?
- Commit to decisions?
- Hold one another accountable?
- Focus on achieving collective results?

Team building is a process, and we can help! Edge Leadership has a variety of solutions, such as:

- A new manager-team “quick start” facilitation to clarify expectations, identify desired norms and create alignment for moving forward together;
- A workshop where team members learn about their own and each others’ communication styles and then identify specific strategies for communicating more effectively; and
- A longer term assessment-driven process to directly address areas of trust, conflict, commitment, accountability and results.

Testimonials For Edge Leadership Consulting, LLC

  • I worked with Denise on a retreat for my leadership team. Denise and I collaborated on the agenda, team building activities, & facilitating the meeting. Denise has a great way of understanding team dynamics and diffusing potentially difficult conversations. My team enjoyed working with Denise and benefited from her expertise.

  • I valued everything! Really… Too much to say in one breath. But my top two are: 1. Not letting anyone off the hook if there was a sticky feeling in the room or during discussion. 2. Denise’s unbiased approached towards everyone.

Solutions

  • The Five Behaviors of a Cohesive Team

    For leaders and their teams who want the rewards of a cohesive, productive team and are willing to commit to the effort involved in a high-impact solution, Edge Leadership Consulting is proud to offer the Five Behaviors of a Cohesive Team™ process, based on the internationally best-selling book by Patrick Lencioni, The Five Dysfunctions of a Team.

    The Five Behaviors of a Cohesive Team program helps teams understand how, as a team, they score on the key components of The Five Behaviors model: trust, conflict, commitment, accountability, and results. Each individual on the team will also understand his or her own personality style, their team members’ styles, and how each style contributes to the team’s overall success.

    The initial program can be delivered in a 1-day format, 2-day format, or a full format of 16-32 hours spread over a period of time. Each option has different pros and cons that we are happy to discuss with you.
