Long Run Leadership Consulting was founded on the belief that the world is experiencing a crisis of short-term thinking. We want to help inspire people to know what their "long run" is, whether it is their organization, their team, or their individual "long runs." We believe that when we know what that long run is, we can set up systems and take daily actions to move closer and closer to that long run vision. While we were officially founded in 2018 in Saint Paul, MN, we have been helping clients since 2002 working with organizations who want to make changes that last. Most of our work happens by developing leaders and teams to achieve their long runs. We coach, train and develop leaders through a variety of approaches.
When we make the biggest impact with our clients, it is through a combination of approaches. We often start by working with the leader and team members to understand the team and its needs. We will include the Five Behaviors of a Cohesive team to help the team understand its needs and to help team members understand their role in the team's dynamics. Together teammates will learn about the personalities of their teammates and how they can better work together by understanding the Five Behaviors of a Cohesive Team: Trust, Conflict, Commitment, Accountability and Focus on Results.
