The Five Behaviors Of A Cohesive Team™ Has A Simple Goal: To Facilitate A Learning Experience That Helps Professionals And Their Organizations Discover What It Takes To Build A Truly Cohesive And Effective Team.

What Are The Five Behaviors Of A Cohesive Team™?
The Five Behaviors of a Cohesive Team is an assessment-based program that focuses on the five pillars of teamwork: Trust, Conflict, Commitment, Accountability, and Results. Grounded in The Five Dysfunctions of a Team model from international best-selling author Patrick Lencioni, participants learn how to maximize these behaviors to become a more cohesive and productive team, as well as understand how each team member’s unique personality style brings value to the team’s overall success.

Start Your Clients' Journey To Teamwork With Either Five Behaviors Personality Assessment.

The Five Behaviors™ program utilizes workplace personality assessments to help participants understand the personalities on their team and how they can effectively work together. Choose between two thoroughly-researched personality assessments: Everything DiSC®—based on a behavioral model comprising of four styles: Dominance, Influence, Steadiness, and Conscientiousness, or All Types™—based on Carl Jung’s theory of psychological types, like the MBTI® instrument[1].

Solutions

  • Building Trust is the Cornerstone of Team Functioning

    Trust One Another
When team members are genuinely transparent and honest with one another, they are able to build
vulnerability-based trust. This is the trust that is demonstrated by:
    - Leaders asking for help when they need it
    - Admitting mistakes and problems, before they come to light by others
    - Acknowledging that others may have valuable input, not just that their ideas are best
    - Sharing feedback on team performance without fear of rejection or retaliation

By focusing on trust, we address the building blocks of exceptional teams. This may be the most difficult challenge the team faces, yet without strong personal trust amongst its member, teams risk unsustainable results.

  • Building Your Team via Accurate Diagnosis

The Five Behaviors of a Cohesive Team assessment and training program offers teams a roadmap for improvement. We use videos, small group activities and scenario planning to help your team develop at you pace.

Programs range from 1-6 modules of training, typically provided in 1/2 day sessions to keep your teams productive throughout the learning program. Let us know your budget and we can craft a program for you.

  • The Five Behaviors Report

A comprehensive, highly personalized, and accessible 37-page illustrated report that helps each
person on the team, and the team as a whole, understand how they scored on the assessment and
how to interpret their individual and team results. The profile includes an introduction, a section
devoted to each of the five behaviors, a summary of the team’s strengths and challenges, tips and
suggestions, and a roadmap to help teams create an action plan based on their results.

  • Videos

Pick and choose from a menu of informative, engaging, and memorable videos to use in team
sessions. An optional orientation video is available to use with participants before they take the
assessment. You can use videos as stand-alone footage or integrate them into an existing or
customized presentation. Choose from engaging classroom style video shorts featuring Patrick
Lencioni, video reenactments of modern workplace scenarios that most teams will recognize, and
videos with additional tips, stories, and guidance to help facilitators better understand the five
behaviors and how to work with team leaders.
